Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TiltLock: Calm Reset handles information for the app and this website. It is prepared for App Store submission transparency and ongoing user support.
1. Overview
TiltLock helps you create a pause before emotional decisions by blocking selected apps and guiding you through a short reset. The app is designed around local, private reset data and does not use advertising SDKs.
TiltLock is not emergency care, medical treatment, mental-health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or professional advice. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services.
2. Information TiltLock stores locally
TiltLock may store reset sessions, selected emotion category, intensity ratings, reset tools used, reset plans, settings, favorite Scripture references, personal prayers, and unsent drafts locally on your device.
Local storage means this information is intended to remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, delete, or otherwise move it through device-level services you control.
3. App blocking and Screen Time permissions
TiltLock uses Apple Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to help block selected apps and websites during a reset or active protection period.
Apple's app-selection tokens are used to apply the blocking choices you make. TiltLock should not describe those tokens as readable app names, browsing history, message content, or notification content.
4. Optional prayer and Scripture tools
Prayer, Scripture, and guided surrender are optional reset tools. TiltLock is for everyone, and these tools only appear when the user chooses them.
Favorite Scripture references and faith-related settings may be stored locally so the chosen tools work inside the app.
5. Unsent drafts and personal prayers
Unsent drafts, personal prayers, reset notes, and journal-style reflections may be stored locally on your device.
TiltLock does not use these entries for ads and does not sell them to advertisers.
6. Subscription and payment processing
TiltLock may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, free trials, or other purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and cancellation is handled through your Apple ID subscription settings.
TiltLock does not receive or store your payment card number from Apple.
7. Superwall
TiltLock may use Superwall to present paywalls, offers, and subscription-related screens, and to help manage subscription status.
Because Superwall may receive subscription, paywall, and product-interaction events needed to operate those experiences, TiltLock should not claim that no data is ever shared with service providers. Superwall's handling of its service data is governed by Superwall's own terms and privacy practices.
8. Data export and deletion
TiltLock may include tools to export or delete local app data from inside the app. Deleting local data removes the app's locally stored reset information from the device, subject to operating-system behavior and backups you control.
Deleting app data does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation is handled through Apple.
9. No ads / no selling personal data
TiltLock does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data.
Personal prayers, drafts, reset notes, and app selections are not used for ads or sold to advertisers.
10. Children's privacy
TiltLock is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.
11. Safety disclaimer
TiltLock can support a pause, but it is not emergency care, medical care, mental-health treatment, crisis counseling, or a replacement for professional help.
If you are in immediate danger, may harm yourself or someone else, or need urgent support, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis resource.
