1. Acceptance of terms

By using TiltLock or tiltlock.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. Subscription/trial basics

TiltLock may offer a 7-day free trial, then $3.99/month or $24.99/year. Final subscription details, trial eligibility, renewal timing, and pricing are shown by Apple before purchase.

Some features may require an active subscription. Emergency override, ending active protection, safety resources, and deleting data remain available without requiring an active subscription.

3. Cancellation through Apple

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. You can cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app or deleting local app data does not automatically cancel a subscription.

4. No emergency or medical advice

TiltLock is a self-directed pause and reset tool. It is not emergency care, medical advice, mental-health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or professional counseling.

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

5. User responsibility

You are responsible for how you use TiltLock, the apps and websites you select, the choices you make after a reset, and any information you enter into the app.

Do not use TiltLock in a way that interferes with essential communication, emergency access, required work, school, caregiving, safety, or legal obligations.

6. App blocking limitations

TiltLock relies on Apple Screen Time and Family Controls APIs, device settings, operating-system behavior, and user selections. App blocking may be delayed, unavailable, disabled, bypassed, or limited by technical or account conditions.

TiltLock does not promise that blocking can never be bypassed or that every app, website, or device state can be controlled.

7. Intellectual property

TiltLock, the TiltLock name, brand assets, app design, website content, and related materials are owned by TiltLock or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TiltLock and tiltlock.app are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TiltLock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or website.
